At home, it's something a witch like myself can do. There are only a few of us in the world, though. I think like five? I suppose if someone had the willingness to carve off themselves to make up a deficit, they could, but...
[Peace grimaced.] There's more of a chance that the person who isn't a which would botch the spell and then you'd have to be culled from the cycle of reincarnation. Witches regenerate their souls a lot faster than your average person. We have to, since it's a cost of doing business. Truly a "live fast, die really early middle age" kind of lifestyle.

He'll need to determine just how much their respective afterworlds differed to make any real progress, but he puts that to the side for the moment, turning back to Peace with a serious expression. ]

Mm... I mean, every universe has deities, but I don't think that mine are real gods. I think our higher powers are more like...

I mean, they're primordial. It's hard to even comprehend something like that. I don't doubt they have the power, but I... I wouldn't even know how to start communing to begin with. There might be something hidden in the library somewhere.

More importantly, Peace looks rather different. One of the eyes on her faces focuses on Handler, and so her head turns to greet the older woman. Her wings fluff up slightly with warmth, and there's an especially pleasant scent wafting off her.]

Not many people. Jongdae and Annie, they're both gone. Ring Spirit is still here and so is Altair.
[She didn't need to say anything about her love life, but there were tells, the short pause mentioning Annie, the way her voice lilted upward on Altair.]
We aren't planning to do anything but keep Annie's residences cleaned up and all that, just in case, so no one's going to be moving into her room. Especially since she had it plastered on the side of my house.
