Just as planned, Peace finished up working on Javert's ledgers and closed up the office, slipping the key in her coat. It felt like a waste to unpick the shoulder stitches, but it was what it was. She needed to get her stones through.
She looked around for Souma, bouncing on the balls of her feet as she waited. He should be here any minute now, right?

[Several hours later, as the sun was finally starting to set, Peace pulled up in her car and rested the back of her head against the seat. Gotta go inside sometime, Gregory.
With a deep sigh, and pasting on her happy face after being reminded that yes, she had to eat people, but that didn't mean she forgot to spend time searching them out to make sure they wouldn't be missed by their "loved ones" trapped by them.
Skipping up to Annie's door, and holding the bag of kitten food, she made sure her opals were sparkling and her hair hadn't fallen out of its bun.]

You won't believe how weird they are when you ask about pet food at the shops sometimes. I ended up having to disguise myself as normal, human me to go in and check.
[She was lucky that wasn't too far from her usual looks, minus the stones, extra eyes and long ears. Her long, red cat's tail twitched back and forth as she spoke.]
